Biodiversity Guess Who Game

I created this Guess Who Game for students to practice using classification-related terminology. The game board is a Powerpoint presentation (also Google Slides) with multiple boards. The instructions is a Word doc (also Google Doc).

To play the game, I printed one board per student, plus an extra board per pair, which I cut up into individual organisms and put in an envelope for one student to draw from. The other student was supposed to guess their partner’s organism. In the classroom, I had students put each game board in a plastic page protector so they could check off organisms they had ruled out using dry erase markers. I kept track of student performance using a Google sheet Leaderboard, which incentivized thoughtful playing without affecting student grades.
